Cassie's Corner (for kids!)*MULTIPLE DATES*
Cassie will offer THREE 50-minute classes for children ages 4-11 years old in the newly restored corn crib. They will gain some gardening knowledge while joining in fun and artistic adventures, all while you get to shop around the farm.
Classes are at 10am, 11am, and 12pm.
Admission per child for each class is $20 cash.
Crafts to choose from include nature picture frames, dried bean mosaics, painted flower pots, and more!
Other activities will be available to participate in throughout the farm during the 50 minutes.

This one-hour consultation with Bob Kugach is designed for the do-it-yourself gardener who would like assistance selecting and arranging plants in a naturalistic style. During the consultation, we will discuss your site conditions, garden goals, plant preferences, and design ideas to create a resilient, seasonally interesting planting plan. We will select Northwind perennials (still in the container) and lay them out in a planting pattern to create your design. You will be able to take photos of the design to recreate it in your own garden.

Midsummer Perennial Walk and Talk with Richard Hawke
Contributions welcome for A Midsummer Perennial Walk and Talk, led by Richard Hawke (from Chicago Botanic Garden), on June 28th at 10:30 am here at Northwind Perennial Farm. Richard will highlight seasonal perennials as we walk through the nursery.
Richard will be sharing his wisdom, which he's learned from his experiences growing and evaluating perennials, and answering questions along the way.

Twelve Days of Christmas at Northwind
This holiday season we’re trying something new and we can’t wait to share it with you!
We’re having The Twelve Days of Christmas at Northwind starting Wednesday, October 22 through Sunday, November 2! This is a twist on our annual holiday tradition and will be the final event of our 2025 season.
Everyday will bring a new surprise!
